Plymouth Paranormal Tours are extremely pleased to announce that we have the very first exclusive paranormal investigation of the monastic tunnels at Port Eliot Estate and the first ever paranormal investigation of the The Eliot Arms in Saint Germans🤩
A LITTLE HISTORY ON THE LOCATION 🏰
The tunnels originally would of taken the dead from the village to the burial ground so not to disturb the local villagers, the condemned would of also passed through here on there way to hangman’s hill within the estates grounds👻
The second set of tunnels down in the estate dates back to the early Iron Age and would of been used as a road.
Later in history this would of also been used by the romans to transport tin, arsenic.
Eventually it was used by Anglo Saxons for the burial ground near by then lastly by the pilgrims when the church became the cathedral of Cornwall, this is when the Augustinians monks built the walls on either side to protect the monks:, these tunnels would of also been used by the knights Templar who protected the monks.
The Eliot Arms is in a historical building and dates back originally to the 18th century and steeped in history and ghostly goings on👻
