Exclusive House Tours
For those wishing for an enhanced experience of Port Eliot’s main house, we are offering Exclusive House Tours hosted by a member of the Eliot family,
A curious, individual and virtually unique location full of wonder and elegant obscurities. Each House Tour includes the Saloon, Drawing Room, Round Room and the service basement that runs beneath them all.
House Tours are available Monday to Friday at 11am – 12pm for a maximum of 2 visitors
Eliot family hosted house tours are not available through our website booking system. Please email info@porteliot.co.uk or call the Estate Office to arrange your visit, at least one week prior to the intended day of your visit.
– Adults : £35
– Youth : £20 (under 18 years old, accompanied by a paying adult)
– Children : Free (under 5 years old, accompanied by a paying adult)
Port Eliot would like to invite all ages and abilities, however, at present the House Tour requires visitors to use stairways and walk on varied surfaces. Please note that while under 5’s are permitted, we do not recommend the tour for this age group.
If booking for Youths, please note there is a maximum of 8 places available and we require at least one responsible (paying) adult to attend..
Garden Walk ticket included in House Tour cost and hot and cold refreshments are available at the on-site The Stables Cafe.

Port Eliot’s Main House is open as pre-bookable tours, visitors can enjoy an intimate perspective of life and art in this stately home throughout the years.
A curious, individual and virtually unique location full of wonder and elegant obscurities. Each House Tour last approximately one hour and includes the Saloon, Drawing Room, Round Room and the service basement that runs beneath them all.
House Tours are available Monday to Friday at 10.30am – 11.30pm for a maximum of 10 visitors
