Just a stones throw from the house is our 18th century inn, The Eliot Arms. One of those proper English pubs where cosy is not a question mark, wholesome food a guarantee and a truly vibrant live music scene on a weekly basis.
The pub hosts various food and music events every week starting with a folk night ‘jam session’ every Thursday where local and not so local musicians are welcome to come and join in with free pints for players! Fish & Chip Friday follows and often there’s at least one live music performance each weekend. The pub offers a tantalising Sunday lunch with a menu that is ever improved and adjusted each week.
Meat is supplied by the well respected Oughs Butchers of Liskeard and fish from RG Seafoods of Torpoint.

The Food
The pub hosts various special food nights throughout the week from eastern flavours to the more traditional Fish & Chips and of course the Sunday Roast. With a creative chef and local ingredients, the kitchen kicks out tantalising food which is always worth coming back for.

The Music
The Eliot Arms is a melting pot of musical performances with a resident Acoustic Night ‘Jam Session’ every Thursday at 8pm til late and at least one performance over the weekends. There is two different rooms with plenty of cosy seating for you to sit back and enjoy some eclectic music.

The Atmosphere
Well, it’s an 18th century coaching Inn with an illustrious history in this estate village so it’s how you’d want a pub to be with warm low lighting, cosy nooks under candle light, proper ales and ciders and open fires! Laid back and welcoming with a proper Cornish charm.

How to find the pub
The pub is situated in the magnificent south east corner of Cornwall about 30 mins from Plymouth and only 10 mins from the coastline of Whitsand Bay & Downderry. It sits just on the edge of the house & gardens.
