TRANSPORTATION
You can visit Port Eliot by the following means :
Train
First Great Western Trains stop at St Germans Station. From the station follow the signs to Port Eliot, via the Lodge Gate in the village. This walk should take approximately eight minutes.
Bus
A bus service runs from Plymouth to St Germans (route 572/3) please contact www.westerngreyhound.com (telephone 01637 871871)
Boat
Tides permitting it may be possible to visit Port Eliot by boat. Visitors must phone the Estate Office on 01503 230211 to confirm arrival details before departure
Pedestrian
The entrance to Port Eliot is via the Lodge Gate in the village
Dogs
Dogs on leads are welcome at Port Eliot. On Wednesday, during the normal opening times, dogs will be allowed loose in the Park provided they are kept under control. Dog owners will be liable for any damage caused by their dog.
Catering
At present there are no catering facilities at Port Eliot. Visitors are welcome to picnic within the park or gardens but please take your litter home with you.
