The Jubilee at Port Eliot
Basement open for guided tours Sat 2nd - Thurs 7th June 2pm to 5pm.
Bank Holiday Monday 4th June - Food Fit For A Queen: 2 cookery events in the Georgian Kitchen.
2.15pm: For adults. Learn to cook using Edwardian copper moulds & recreate the food eaten at Port Eliot at the time of the coronation, as well as other royal favourites (including crab tart, potted shrimps, lobster, Drum-Kilbo and iced Queens pudding) (£12)
3.30pm: For children. Make jelly, ice cream and fairy cakes for a Jubilee tea using the old copper jelly and ice cream moulds and then tuck in. (£5). Prices include admission to the cookery demonstration and house & gardens.
On June 3rd, St German’s church will screen The Queen, starring Helen Mirren. All donations to the church and the Children's Hospice South West. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
