Port Eliot Dog Festival & Whippet Tea Party

12th May 2012

Roo and Lark invite their friends and their humans to the annual Dog Festival in the grounds of Port Eliot on Saturday 12th May 2012.

The Dog Festival is once again being held in support of the Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal, raising funds for the new hospice 'Little Harbour', near St Austell.

Last year over seven hundred people and hundreds of dogs joined in the fun and welcomed Lark to her first Dog Festival.

Roo St Germans says:

"Lark and I are looking forward to welcoming you to our fourth annual Dog Festival. We can't wait to join in the fun and celebrate how simply marvellous it is to be a dog.

We will be hosting another fabulous Whippet Tea Party, and as usual Mr Fowley, CHSW’s Leonberger friend, will be taking care of the Dog Show. There will be plenty for everyone to do, even the humans. They will have an array of stalls, cream teas and other refreshments, a treasure hunt and other activities for children, and musical entertainment."

Entry to the grounds: Adults £2.00; children free of charge.

Dog show entry: £1.00 per class.

All proceeds to the Children's Hospice South West: www.chsw.org.uk

In addition the house will be open to visitors from 2pm to 5pm. Admission is £8.00.
