Ostensibly a literary festival however with the feel of a garden party, mixed eclectically with music, a one minute disco and an alternative flower show.

They would like to invite their friends and their humans to this annual festival in the grounds of Port Eliot. Last year over seven hundred people and hundreds of dogs joined Roo.

Port Eliot will be opening its doors for the first time to the public at night time, in a unique chance to see the house, its pictures and rooms lit by soft haunting candle light.
